Kim Polatas was recently named as the new executive director of the Tallmadge Chamber of Commerce.

According to the Chamber, Polatas was chosen to lead the organization due to her wealth of experience in leadership, community engagement and business development, and she will play a key role in advancing the Chamber’s mission to support local businesses and foster economic growth in Tallmadge.

“I’m honored to step into the role of Executive Director and work alongside such a dedicated team,” Polatas, the owner of Pink Flamingo Marketing, said. “The Tallmadge Chamber of Commerce plays a critical role in supporting our local businesses and creating opportunities for growth. I look forward to collaborating with our members, partners and community leaders to continue this important work.”

Her proven track record of building meaningful relationships and implementing successful programs makes her a valuable asset in her new role, the Chamber says.

“We are thrilled and excited to have Kim join us as Executive Director,” Jim West, president of the board of trustees, said. “Her energy, vision and commitment to the community are exactly what the Chamber needs as we look toward the future. Kim will help us continue providing valuable resources and opportunities to our members and the Tallmadge community as a whole.”

The Chamber also announced that Becky Allman, who has served with the organization for over a decade, will remain on staff as event coordinator. In this role, Allman will continue to organize the Chamber’s “signature events”, including Casino Night, the Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast, Circle Fest and the Year-End Awards Ceremony. The Chamber says her expertise and dedication ensure that these events will remain a highlight for members and the broader community.
