Documenters: Mogadore Village Council Aug. 19, 2026
By Noell Wolfgram Evans
The Mogadore Village Council held a rapid-fire meeting on Aug. 19, 2026. The meeting started at 5:30 p.m. with Mayor Mike Rick, Assistant Clerk-Treasurer Jennifer Barnes, Council President Michael Raddish and council members Barbara Van Dike, John Tonsic, Chris Yoho and Robert McDowell present.
There were no committee reports or initial comments from the audience, so council members moved to consider two pieces of legislation. 2026-52 would authorize the transfer of funds from the general fund to the street fund, and 2026-53 would amend the annual appropriations for current expenses. The trustees unanimously voted to suspend the rules on each and then, in two separate votes, approved each unanimously and without comment.
During the open comments section, one resident rose to ask the trustees if they have ever had the microphones checked because he had a hard time hearing them. The only other comment was offered up by Rick, who announced that the pickleball courts were “finished and look beautiful.” And with that, the meeting was adjourned at 5:36 p.m.
